Just a few days after our return from the mainland, we celebrated our final Oki Marine Corps birthday with our friends, Matt & Krystin, and the VMM262 Flying Tigers Squadron.
This was the first time I was able to get a picture of the bite-size pieces of cake ready and waiting for the oldest and youngest Marines present, the CO and the guest of honor to 'cut' with the saber and eat during the cake ceremony.

Matt and Krystin were our friends, down-the-seawall neighbors, Truman-sitters, and fellow-attendees of Central Baptist Church. We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner together later that month at our apartment.
