Hong Kong -- Disney Pt 3

One of our all time favorite rides in Disneyland is Haunted Mansion. But, Hong Kong Disneyland doesn't have the rights to that ride; however, they have created their own version of the ride:
"Mystic Manor".
The manor is 'enchanted' by an artifact the eccentric Lord Henry Mystic brought back from one of his many explorations, always accompanied by his monkey sidekick, Albert.

Some of Lord Henry's spoils...

While visiting Geyser Gulch, we almost felt like we were in Silver Dollar City!!

Big Grizzly Mountain

NOTE: Interesting fact/memory from Hong Kong Disney--- notice the English on the signage? With Hong Kong having once been a British colony, English is prevalent. However, both Cantonese and Mandarin are also official languages. For some of the rides in HK Disneyland, like the jungle cruise for example, for which the story would be told during the ride, you could choose which ride to take depending on which language you wanted to hear. At the entrance of the line for the ride, simply look above and find the language you wanted and go through that line!

We had not anticipated seeing the Lion King show, but happened upon it just in time for the last show of the day and they were trying to get as many people in as they could, so we joined in.

Popcorn is a very popular snack there with different flavors in different parts of the park. Instead of the "U.S. Style Original Flavor (salty)" we opted for Caramel Flavor in a Santa Mickey bucket.

Mainstreet at night is a lovely sight!!

The end to a magical day!!
