The last bus stop and our destination was the fishing village of Aberdeen.
This area was in such contrast to the big city, but full of contrasts in and of itself. High-rise apartment complexes overlooking very pricey yachts and at the same time sampans and junks!
Our next chariot-- a sampan ride!!
Our captain had decorated her sampan with momentos...

At least, we assume they are family photos, as she spoke no English.
JUMBO Floating Resaurant
The lifestyle of the not-so-rich-and-famous fishermen and their families.
They live on the water for about nine months out of the year.
But, seem to have cell phones and some even have satellite TV!
And pets (there's a black cat sitting behind the bumper tire!)
and rooftop gardens.

Back to the pier, then back on the bus, then back to the ferry, and back to Kowloon....
