Hong Kong -- The Peak

Our third day in Hong Kong would be a day of boats, trams, and buses
via the Hong Kong BigBus Tours.

The first leg of our journey consisted of a ferry ride from Kowloon...
...to Central Pier on Hong Kong Island.
If you can zoom in on this picture, you can see our BigBus waiting on the other side of the pier!

We had the cutest welcoming committee at the pier!
(They were actually doing a photo shoot :) )

Our chariot awaits!
We were taking the Aberdeen & Stanley Tour (Green Route) which would eventually take us from the concrete-jungle to the back country jungle-jungle on the far side of the island.

Turns out, Rodney was HUGE in Hong Kong, too!!

And off we go through the concrete jungle...

We hopped off at the tram station to go up to "the top of Hong Kong"--
Victoria Peak (aka "The Peak").
We rode the tram to the top where we found our first pit stop--
Hard Rock Hong Kong!

Then, we ventured out onto The Sky Terrace 428 observation deck.

We're wearing the head phones to hear the 'tour' info of the views from the peak.

Even with the haze, the views from about 1400 feet above sea level were phenomenal!

A tram coming up the tracks between a lookout point along one of the nature trails (right) and what appears to be a private residence (left)!!

So many photo ops...

Then, it was time to head back down the mountain and
hop back on the bus to continue our tour...
